Today we continue with the second of three articles dedicated to water dispensers.

After a brief introduction and discussing the types of water that can be dispensed, today we’ll discuss the location and installation of a dispenser.

This criterion concerns where and how the dispenser is installed. It is important for evaluating the aesthetic impact, practicality, and available space in the kitchen.

  • Under-sink: The dispenser is hidden in the cabinet under the sink, with a dedicated faucet. An elegant and discreet solution.
  • Under-plinth: Installed in the base of the kitchen cabinet (the plinth). It is very compact, but less accessible for maintenance.
  • Above-sink: These are freestanding models, visible on the kitchen countertop. They are easy to install and move, but they take up space.
Tipo di installazione Descrizione Pro/Contro
Under-Sink Integrated into the kitchen cabinet, invisible, with dedicated faucet Clean aesthetics, requires space.
Under-Plinth Installed in the base of the kitchen cabinet, very compact Space-saving, less accessible.
Over-Sink Appliance installed on the kitchen counter Easy to install, visible

The choice depends on the available space and the desired level of integration.
